e-Visa (Tourist, Business, Medical) :

The e-Visa system enables foreign nationals to apply online for short-term travel to India for tourism, business meetings, or medical treatments, streamlining entry for eligible countries. It covers visits for recreation, attending conferences, engaging in commercial activities, or obtaining healthcare services.

Tourist Visa :

Issued to those wishing to experience India’s culture, heritage, or leisure destinations, the Tourist Visa allows individual and group travelers entry for recreation, sightseeing, or meeting friends and relatives. It excludes work, study, or long-term engagements.

Transit Visa :

Designed for travelers passing through India en route to a third country, the Transit Visa grants a short stay as part of a connecting international journey. It does not permit entry for tourism or business purposes.

Conference Visa :

This visa is for delegates and participants attending conferences, seminars, workshops or meetings in India organized by government, educational, or professional bodies. Its purpose is strictly limited to event participation and associated activities.

Mountaineering Visa :

Specially issued for foreign nationals joining approved mountaineering expeditions in India, this visa allows entry and stay for climbing, trekking, and associated activities in designated areas. Prior clearance from Indian authorities is necessary.

Journalist Visa (for tourism/media visits) :

Granted to media professionals, correspondents, or film crews, the Journalist Visa covers work like reporting, documentary production, or tourism promotion. It typically entails restrictions on sensitive coverage and may require prior approvals for certain activities.

Visa on Arrival :

Available to select nationalities (primarily Japanese, Korean and UAE), Visa on Arrival allows eligible travelers to obtain their visa directly at designated Indian airports. It facilitates short-term leisure, business, or medical travel for up to 60 days.
